Arike Ogunbowale

Arike Ogunbowale, aka Arike American professional basketball athlete for the Dallas Wings of the Women's National Basketball Association. She played in the NCAA basketball tournament for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, prior to being selected by the Wings with the fifth overall selection of the 2019 WNBA draft. Arike Ogunbowale is Milwaukee Wisconsin native born to Yolanda Ogunbowale. Mario Ogunbowale (26 years) and Dare Ogunbowale (19 years) are her two older brothers. Ogunbowale won gold medals at the 2013 FIBA Americas U16 Championship as well as the 2013 FIBA U17 World Championship, as well as the 2013 FIBA 3x3 U18 Championship. On July 7 2014 she was added for the 2014 USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team. Ogunbowale was also included on the ACC All-Freshman Team following her debut year as a collegiate player. She was even congratulated by the legendary Kobe Bryant after she hit several big shots at the NCCA Tournament. Ogunbowale, despite being a relative newcomer to the basketball game, has established herself as a star. She's sure to continue her career.
